TOCA in Spain Summer 2025 Recap

🌍 Immersion changes everything.

When you step outside your comfort zone, language stops being something you study—and becomes something you live.

We’re back and finally feeling recharged, but nothing compares to two transformative weeks immersed in the heart ❤️ of Sevilla.

From day one, the city became both our classroom and our inspiration. Students strengthened their Spanish through immersive lessons, explored breathtaking cathedrals and palaces, navigated cultural scavenger hunts, and experienced the powerful history of slavery through a walking tour with Sevilla Negra.

Beyond the classroom, they embraced hands-on cultural experiences—catching waves in surf lessons, crafting ceramic art, and cooking paella from scratch. Each moment offered a deeper connection to language, history, and the everyday life of Sevilla.

In just two weeks, our students didn’t just learn Spanish, they lived it!

They returned home with:
↘️ Sharper skills.
↘️ A richer understanding of the world.
↘️ A deeper appreciation for the power of cultural exchange.

We’re incredibly proud of how they embraced every opportunity, not just learning in the classroom, but confidently speaking the Spanish they learned to connect, explore, and truly expand their experience.
